DESCRIPTION Proper maintenance of the air filter is essential for vehicle performance and fuel economy. The air filter element removes foreign material such as dust, dirt, and other material from the intake air, thereby preventing the engine from damage due to contaminated air. Inspect and clean the air filter element at every routine service. Replace the air filter element as per service schedule. REMOVAL 1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and raise the hood. 2. Unscrew the top three mounting bolts of air filter assembly & one locator point at back side. 3. Detach the cover through hinge action, with clamp and snorkel intact with cover. 4. Remove the air filter element. SR. NO. STAGE ACTION COOLANT QTY. (ML) 1 Initial filling Fill the coolant through pressure cap opening 3700 2 Cold fill - Engine off Coolant filled until max level of no loss tank 700 3 Pressure cap closed. Engine started & maintained at 3000±100 rpm with AC OFF. 4 2 Heat -Cool cycles done (i.e. Radiator fan turns ‘ON’ & ‘OFF’ for two times). 5 Engine OFF. Leave engine to cool down (preferably to ambient temperatures). 6 2nd filling Fill the coolant till neck of pressure cap 200 Fill the coolant till max level 400 Total Coolant filled 5000 Diesel Engine Ph-2 (CAFÉ) 58
