G. DO’S AND DON’TS WHILE PERFORMING CALIBRATION DO’S 1. Use compatible defined TML SVS camera for this vehicle while replacing faulty camera 2. Fitment needs to be done with recommended tolerance ~ +/- 3mm 3. Stop all media sources (USB, Tuner), AA/CP projection, disconnect BT devices 4. Perform calibration in bright daylight conditions 5. Use flat road for driving to perform calibration 6. After starting calibration drive for 10-15 seconds in straight line at optimal speed of 10-15km/h. 7. User can either drive the vehicle or stop the vehicle till the calibration process successful. 8. If calibration procedure failed then repeat the calibration. DON’TS 1. Do not use non compatible camera for replacing faulty camera. 2. Do not fit outside of recommended tolerance of ~ +/-3mm. 3. Do not use infotainment system for media / call/ projection during calibration. It can disturb the calibration process. 4. Do not perform calibration in overcast, rainy conditions. If the user perform calibration in such conditions then calibration might be done but output will not be up to the mark. 5. Do not use road with irregular surface for driving to perform calibration. 6. Do not apply breaks, change speed while calibration is ongoing. 7. Vehicle should be driven only for the data capture duration (10-15 Sec). user can either drive the vehicle or stop the vehicle during the data processing. 8. Do not handover vehicle to customer in case calibration fails. 9. As the camera is, IP protected, do not detach, disassemble or modify in any manner from the actual position. This will show required visual information in display. Do not use SVS system when tailgate is open. 10. If tailgate is open, visual information may not be the actual rear view of the vehicle & system will warn with message ‘Tail Gate Open, Please close’. Do not use SVS system when driver/co-driver 11. door is open. If any one of the door is open, visual information may not be the actual view of the vehicle & system will warn with message ‘Door Open, Please close’. And also corresponding door side display shall be in dark image. Do not use SVS system when ORVM is folded. 12. If ORVM is folded, visual information may not be the actual view of the vehicle & system will warn with message ‘ORVM Folded’. When the camera is operated under 13. fluorescent lights, sodium light or mercury light etc., illuminated areas on the lens may appear to flicker in the display. Do not attach any advertisement or styling or 14. any kind of stickers on top of camera. If this happens, camera cannot provide you the visual image and may damage camera.
