E. REMOVAL OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER 1. Remove cluster hood gently from its position. 2. Remove Lower Nacelle Assy. (Refer Body Section). 3. Remove Upper Nacelle Assy. (Refer Body Section). 4. Loosen the mounting screw of the instrument cluster cover & take out the cluster cover. 5. Remove the mounting screws of the instrument cluster & take out the cluster cover. 6.Remove Instrument cluster electrical connections. 7. Take out the Instrument cluster. REFITMENT Follow above procedure in reverse for fitment. WARNING Remove the key from key barrel. This is • necessary to ensure proper initialization of Instrument Cluster Parameters like Odometer value learning from Immobilizer and DTCs in other ECUs against Instrument Cluster. Removing Instrument Cluster with Key IN is • strictly prohibited otherwise it will corrupt the odometer value. WARNING Swapping to analyze cluster defect: • It is strictly prohibited to swap clusters for • defect analysis from vehicles or from available stock. Due to immobilizer Odometer learning strategy, cluster odometer value will change permanently to a higher value. For defect analysis, use Diagnostics Tool or ETC (Engineering Test MODE).
