TELL TALES COLOR INDICATOR REMARKS Seat belt Indicator (Driver,Co- Driver, Rear Passengers) Red If any driver, Co Driver and Passenger is present and seat belt is not buckled and IGN is ON then Telltale will be ON as initial warning with No audio chime. If any driver, Co Driver and Passenger seat belt remains unbuckled and vehicle speed goes above 15 km/hr, then Seat belt telltale will also start flashing along with audio alarm during Final Warning. Note: Buckle the Driver seat belt to stop Audible warning and telltale OFF. Immobilizer Warning Indicator Red (High End – Amber) This symbol is of a system that disables engine starting if User do not use the original key. The user has to use original key for authentication and unlocking the car. Refer to Immobilizer section for details. Lamp Blink: Car is in immobilized condition when key is not inserted. Lamp OFF: Normal condition (Authenticated user) and engine shall start. Lamp ON: Problem with key/system. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Check Engine Lamp Amber This is symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after the engine starts. CAUTION: This symbol will remain ‘ON’ for any engine related fault that may cause damage to engine. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Speed Limit Lamp Amber When the vehicle speed cross 80 km/hrs., Speed limit Warning indicator turn ‘ON’ along with chime for every 2 minute one beep (Audible warning) When the vehicle speed is reduce below 75 km/hrs., Speed limit Warning Indicator and chime will get turns ‘OFF’ If vehicle speed crosses 120 km/hrs. Speed limit Warning indicator turn ‘ON’ along with chime for every 2 sec one beep (Audible warning) When the vehicle speed is reduce below 115 km/hrs., Speed limit Warning Indicator and chime will work as defined in point 1 Diesel Particulate Filter Lamp Amber When ignition is turned ‘ON’, this symbol comes ‘ON’ for 4 seconds and goes ‘OFF’. This symbol will continue to remain ‘ON’ after Ignition On precheck if there is a problem in the DPF system. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. EPAS Lamp Amber This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and goes ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when there is malfunction in Electronic Power Assisted Steering.
