VI. REMOVAL OF TIMING CHAIN 1. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal. 2. Remove the Cylinder Head Cover from the engine & carefully place the rubber gasket apart. 3. Remove the oil pump cover by removing its mounting fasteners. 4. Keep the piston at top dead center by rotating crankshaft. 5. Lock the flywheel 6. Remove the camshaft carrier assembly. 7. Soft loosen the VCT and exhaust camshaft sprocket before removal of timing chain 8. Lock the tensioner by using locking pin and remove the tensioner.
