iv. FRESH AIR / RECIRCULATION 1. When the user pushes the Fresh air \ Recirculation button , the LED turns ON, the air inlet door flap shall move to the RECIRCULATION position and air from the vehicle’s interior is sent throughout the system. 2. When the user pushes the Fresh \ Recirculation button and the LED turns off, air is brought in from outside of the vehicle (fresh mode). Whenever discomfort is felt, switch to fresh air mode. 3. The Fresh \ Recirculation control shall switch to Auto operation immediately after the user presses the Auto button. The Climate control algorithm shall calculate the status of the Fresh \ Recirculation door flap. The LED shall not indicate the status of the door flap during Auto operation. It is recommended to run the vehicle in recirculation mode to avoid clogging of air filter. v. AIR DISTRIBUTION (MODE) The mode knob is used to select the air delivery mode. There are 3 different modes as given in Mode buttons image. OFF Mode Select the OFF switch to turn the system ‘OFF’. OFF will be displayed on the infotainment screen. Temperature Control Move the temperature control toggle switch up to increases the temperature of the air. The desired temperature will be increased by steps of 0.5ºC. User can select temperature range from 18ºC to 30ºC. Move the toggle switch down to reduce the temperature. When you set the temperature to its lower limit (Lo) or its upper limit (Hi), the system runs at full cooling or heating only. It doesn’t regulate the interior temperature. Mode control during Manual operation The Mode control shall switch to the Manual mode immediately after the user presses the mode button. In the Manual mode, the driver shall select the mode by pressing the mode pushbutton on the control head. The mode shall switch in a cyclic sequence as shown above for each press of the button. The display shall be updated as shown above corresponding to the current selected mode. NOTE 1. The outside air intakes for the climate control system are at the base of windscreen. Keep this area clear from leaves and other debris. 2.The system should be used with recirculation air mode for faster heat up and cool down, however keeping the system in recirculation mode, particularly with AC OFF, can cause the windows fog up.
