1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 59 Removal : 1. Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the power supply to the system fuel pump and cranking the engine. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 3. Lift the vehicle on the hoist. 4. Remove the fuel line connections (Quick fit Connectors) to the fuel filter. 5. Loosen the bolts, securing the fuel filter, in the mounting bracket. 6. Remove the fuel filter from the mounting bracket. Installation : 1. Place the fuel filter in the mounting bracket. Be sure to orient the fuel filter in the proper direction. 2. Tighten the bolts that secure the filter in the mounting bracket. 3. Connect the fuel lines to the filter, making sure the lines are secure. 4. Lower down the vehicle from hoist 5. Start the engine and inspect the connections for leaks. Stop the engine immediately and repair any leaks. CAUTION A small amount of fuel may be released after fuel hose is disconnected. To avoid the chance of accident, cover hose and pipe disconnected with a shop cloth. VI. Air Conditioner Compressor and Alternator Belt Replacement : Description: The belt used in this vehicle is multi ribbed belt. This belt is pre-tensioned over Air conditioner compressor and crank shaft pulley and therefore do not require the tensioner as this is capable of efficient power transmission. CAUTION The belt is not interchangeable and should not be interchanged with normal multiribbed belts. Inspect: 1. Inspect the belt for excessive wear or damage. Replace the belt if any of the following are noticed: 2. Hardening - belt will be glossy and hard. Pressing on the belt with a fingernail will not make an impression. 3. Cracks in rubber. 4. Canvas showing. 5. Broken, cracked, or missing belt tooth. 6. Excessive wear on side of belt. The side of the belt should appear to have been cut with a knife. Removal : 1. Remove alternator, compressor and water pump driving Belts.
