1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 56 4. Initial coolant filling through pressure cap opening. Keep filling coolant till coolant is visible in the heater hose. Refit the heater hose. Fill the no loss tank till the max level. 5. Start the engine and maintain engine 3000 rpm. Close the pressure cap & start the engine in idle condition for a few seconds. Rev up & maintain engine speed at 3000±100 rpm. Radiator fan switch ‘ON’ for the first time once coolant temperature reaches the fan trigger threshold. Continue the de-aeration process until completion of two heat cool cycles of radiator fan (i.e. Radiator fan turns ‘ON’ & ‘OFF’ for two times). Allow engine to cool down until coolant temperature reaches ambient temperature. 6. Fill coolant after vehicle cool down. After cool down, observe drop in coolant level in no loss tank & if required fill coolant until max mark. Also open pressure cap & fill coolant till the neck is full if required. Air Filter Element Replacement : Description : Proper maintenance of the air filter is essential for vehicle performance and fuel economy. The air filter element removes foreign material such as dust, dirt, and other material from the intake air, thereby preventing the engine from damage due to contaminated air. Inspect and clean the air filter element at every routine service. Replace the air filter element every 45,000 km. Removal : 1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and raise the hood. 2. Unscrew the top mounting bolts of air filter assembly. 3. Detach the cover through hinge action. 4. Remove the air filter element. 5. Gently tap loose any dirt or debris from the filter. Clean the housing and air ducts as well. Take care not to allow dirt and debris to enter the air inlet to the engine. Inspection : 1. Hold the air filter element up to a light source. Light should be visible through the element. There should be no holes or tears in the element.
