1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 199 Component Specification : PT sensor measures CNG pressure in low pressure line and mounted on the gas fuel rail. It consists of piezo-resistive elements whose resistance changes with pressure acting on the piezo electric element. It also measures temperature of CNG in gas fuel rail. Measured gas pressure & temperature is used for calculating gas mass flow rate. PT sensor Properties Operating Pressure - 4 bar (Gauge) Operating Temperature Range – -25 Deg C to 120 Deg C IX. CNG HIGH PRESSURE SENSOR (Non Serviceable) Component Details : When the manual valve on the cylinder valve is open, the sensor will sense the pressure of the CNG in the CNG tank. The sensor generates an output voltage which is a function of the pressure of CNG. This signal is used for calculating mass for displaying the amount of CNG on the instrument cluster & also for proper Function of Engine management system while operating in CNG mode. LOCATION The HP sensor is located upstream of the CNG regulator solenoid valve and senses the pressure in the high pressure line as shown above.
