1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 123 10. Open the moon valve slightly, excess opening of valve may cause shut off the valve. Hence open the valve slightly & increase valve opening step by step as shown valve position in below images with respect to drop in pressure till the cylinder gets empty 11. Pull the high-pressure lines gently away from the cylinder valve on both sides 12. Loosen and remove the nuts holding the cylinder straps. Swivel the straps about its hinges. 13. Take out the cylinder. NOTE The cylinder can now be removed from the vehicle. Please note that an Empty weight of 25L cylinder is 30 Kg & 35L cylinder is 45 Kg and due care must be taken when lifting the cylinder so as not to cause injury. Ensure that the cylinder valve do not touch/strike anywhere during the removal of the removal and get damaged. Cylinder can also be removed along with the cradle by removing the mounting fasteners of the cradle assy. FITMENT For fitment follow removal procedure in reverse. Apply applicable torque on the fasteners as given in the torque table given in this manual. Follow process for tightening of high pressure nut as given in this manual. Conduct leak detection test after the fitment of CNG cylinder on vehicle. NOTE Get the CNG Cylinder checked and recertified after every 3 years or as per the latest CVMR rules at Govt approved test agencies mentioned in this Manual Never fill CNG cylinder with air, LPG or any fuel except CNG. Keep the car away from any Fire source. Remove the CNG tank during the welding / brazing work on the Car.
