ELECTRICAL 6 I. WPC ECU REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE 1. PRE-CHECKS/TASKS TO BE DONE BEFORE REPLACING THE WPC ECU After performing all the necessary checks as per the troubleshooting guide, at wire harness, switches, relays, circuit short to ground, short to battery or open etc. If no root cause is found i.e. fault is not rectified, then follow the below replacement procedure. 2. ECU REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE PREQUISITE: 1. Gateway (Instrument Cluster) shall be functional. 2. Vehicle configuration data shall be available on the server. 3. New WPC ECU assembly shall be available for replacement. REMOVAL: 1. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the battery. 2. Remove the Anti-skid mat from Console area. 3. Pull out gear shifter bezel. 4. Remove the console finishers LH & RH. 5. Disconnect Electrical Connection drive mode switch connection.
