ELECTRICAL 8 TELL TALES COLOR INDICATOR REMARKS 2. Illuminates continuously if a fault arise in Engine Management System. Contact TATA MOTORS Authorized Service Centre. Immobilizer Red 1. Illuminates when the system disables engine start if the original key is not used. 2. Bulb blinks: vehicle is in immobilized condition when key is not inserted. 3. Bulb ON: Problem with key/system. Contact TATA MOTORS Authorized Service Centre. Water in fuel (Only for Diesel) Amber 1. Illuminates momentarily when ignition is switched ‘ON’ once engine is cranked, it goes OFF. 2. Illuminates continuously if excess water is accumulated in the fuel filter. Contact TATA MOTORS Authorized Service Centre to drain the water immediately to avoid serious damage to the fuel injection system. Diesel PreHeat indicator /Glow Plug Indicator (Only for Diesel) Amber This symbol comes ‘ON’ when the ignition key is in the ‘ON’ position. Engine should be started only after this indicator goes ‘OFF’ Speed Limit bulb Amber This symbol comes ON when vehicle speed is more than 120 kmph. This symbol blinks and audible buzzer sounds simultaneously when Vehicle Speed is more than 120 kmph. At this stage, reduce the vehicle speed. Diesel Particulate Filter bulb (Only for Diesel) Amber This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after the engine starts. This symbol comes ON when Diesel Particulate filter in exhaust system is malfunctioning. At this stage, take the car to the nearest Authorized Service outlet. CNG Bulb (PP) Amber This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when CNG fuel mode is activated. DRL Lamp Green This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when the Day Time Running lamp is ‘ON’. AMT Fault Indicator Amber When ignition is turned ‘ON’, this symbol comes ‘ON’ for four seconds and goes ‘OFF’. This symbol shall continue to remain 'ON' or shall come 'ON' after Ignition On precheck if there is a problem in the AMT system. CITY (PP) Blue This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when CITY driving mode is activated (if applicable). ECO (PP) Green This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when ECO driving mode is activated (if applicable).
