H. COMPRESSOR AND ALTERNATOR BELT REMOVAL The belt used in this vehicle is multi ribbed belt. This belt is pre-tensioned over Air conditioner compressor and crank shaft pulley and therefore do not require the tensioner as this is capable of efficient power transmission. Remove front RH mud liner. (Refer Body 1. section for removal procedure). 2. Rotate the tensioner point by using ring spanner opposite to belt tension to remove the belt. 3. Remove the belt. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse order of removal. CAUTION The belt is not interchangeable and should not be interchanged with normal multi-ribbed belts. CAUTION Ensure that the tool is correctly located during the belt fitment process.
