Disconnect the clutch cable connection from 21. the transaxle. Remove front two tyres. 22. Disconnect the left and right drive shafts from 23. the vehicle. (For removal procedures refer Transaxle section). Use suitable belt/chain to fix a zip crane to the 24. engine lifting hooks located at front and rear of the engine. Raise the crane slightly up until very light 25. pressure is applied to the engine. Remove the bolts on Engine ‘B’ mounting 26. bracket. Remove the “A”- mounting bracket nuts (3 27. nos) from engine side. Remove the “C” mount. 28. Using hydraulic support stand lower the engine 29. from engine bay and remove engine from vehicle. (Use a suitable wooden block or other support for additional height as necessary.) Now slightly lower the lift until engine and 30. transaxle assembly is securely placed / fix on the support stand. Disconnect the lifting crane from the engine. 31. Now carefully move the lift up. 32. Take out the engine and transaxle assembly 33. along with support stand. CAUTION Take care when lowering the engine off the vehicle. Verify all components and electrical connections are disconnected prior to raising the vehicle, or vehicle damage occurs.
