BRAKE 1 1. REMOVAL AND REFITMENT OF TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY NOTE: Overhauling of TMC & BOOSTER ASSEMBLY is not recommended. It is recommended to replace TMC and Booster assembly separately whenever required. Removal: 1. Position vehicle on two post lift and disconnect battery. 2. Drain brake oil. 3. Reservoir and Master cylinder. 4. Disconnect the electrical connector of brake fluid level switch. 5. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster. 6. Loosen coupling nuts and disconnect hydraulic lines attached to TMC. 7. Remove mounting fasteners of TMC and take it out. 8. Release clevis clips securing brake booster push-rod to brake pedal. 9. Remove four nuts securing brake booster to firewall. 10.Remove the Intake manifold.(For detail refer Intake manifold removal procedure). 11.Loosen the A mount fasteners. 12.Support the engine suitably. 13.Lower the engine slowly in such way that it make space to remove booster. 14.Remove brake booster carefully.
