1.5L REVOTORQ ENGINE 73 Test procedure This process to be followed for allowing user to regenerate the DPF without using laptop. Regeneration needs to be performed at EOL, if any or both Model based soot load/ DP based soot load is higher than 35%. 1. Start the engine and warmup till coolant temperature reaches 70 degC 2. Check for any fault code & rectify if present 3. Give Power latch by switching off the Ignition Key for 20 sec. 4. After 20 Sec, Switch on the ignition without starting the engine and then Switch off the ignition 5. Repeat the process for 6 times, within 20 sec (6 ignition toggle cycles) 6. Start the engine on 7th ignition cycle 7. Switch off the AC & Blower 8. After 10 sec Engine RPM will increase to 1600 from idle RPM 9. Keep the Bonnet Open 10.Do not press Accelerator Pedal, Brake and clutch during service regen 11.After completion of regeneration, wait till the engine speed drops to idling speed and give power latch by Switching off the engine for 20 sec 12.Check the soot values with the help of diagnostic tool. Repeat the process if any or both Model based soot load/ DP based soot load is higher than 35% NOTE: Need to ensure Brake switch is in FALSE state (brake pedal NOT pressed) and Clutch switch should be in ENGAGED state (Clutch pedal NOT pressed) before starting the procedure.
