Remove movable and fixed guide rail. 18. Remove the camshaft carrier. 19. Remove the Timing chain from the gear train assembly. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse order of removal. NOTE Place the chain over VCT, exhaust sprocket and crankshaft sprocket in such a way that the 3 copper color links of chain matches with the dimple marks of all the 3 sprockets respectively TIMING CORRECTION / ADJUSTING PROCEDURE CAUTION If timing chain is removed when cylinder head is in assembled on block, Do not rotate the crankshaft and camshafts independently, It may damage the valves. 1. Rotate the crankshaft 90° so that the piston will not touch any of valve.
