SUSPENSION 40 22. Lower the twist beam along with bracket 23.Remove the twist beam cross bolt on both sides. 24. Twist beam bush removal 25.Remove twist beam front pivot bush using special tools as shown in below arrangement. NOTE: Apply soap water to the bush and the bore of twist beam assembly before installation. Tightening of RTB on body to be done in preloading condition. No jacking to be done on beam, avoid oil based lubricant while pushing the bushes in eye All RTB mounting fasteners to be fitted in ECIE / Preload condition (applicable wherever bush fasteners) INSTALLATION NOTE: During RTB assembly, resting/lifting/handling not to done on beam centre portion to avoid damages like notch/ scratch/ chipping/ digging/ bending/ deformation etc. During RTB assembly ensure it is centralised correctly with BIW so as to have equal rear toe on LH and RH side. 6. Install twist beam front pivot bush using special tools as shown in below arrangement. 7. Tighten the cross bolt of the twist beam. 8. Lift and properly position the twist beam along with bracket.
