LV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 90 I. REMOVAL OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WARNING Remove the key from key barrel. This is necessary to ensure proper initialization of Instrument Cluster Parameters like Odometer value learning from Immobilizer and DTCs in other ECUs against Instrument Cluster. Removing Instrument Cluster with Key IN is strictly prohibited otherwise it will corrupt the odometer value. 1. Remove cluster hood gently from its position by using screw driver. 2. Loosen the mounting screw of the instrument cluster cover 3. Now remove the upper mounting screws of the instrument cluster. 4. Remove Instrument cluster electrical connections. 5. Remove Instrument cluster REFITMENT Follow above procedure in reverse for fitment. WARNING Swapping to analyze cluster defect: It is strictly prohibited to swap clusters for defect analysis from vehicles or from available stock. Due to immobilizer Odometer learning strategy, cluster odometer value will change permanently to a higher value. For defect analysis, use Diagnostics Tool or ETC (Engineering Test MODE).
