LV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 44 7. Disconnect the electrical connection of ECO/Sports mode switch. 8. Unlock & Pry out the ECO/Sports mode switch from console assy. REFITMENT Follow the reverse procedure for fitment. E. ELECTRONIC PARK BRAKE (EPB) SWITCH (IF EQUIPPED) EPB switch is located behind the gear shift lever replacing the conventional parking brake (Hand brake lever connected to brake mechanism by cable). EPB is applied by pulling up the EPB switch and can be released by pushing down the EPB switch, which needs the vehicle to be at ignition / Engine ON condition. Always ensure parking brake is released and parking brakewarning lamp is OFF before start of the drive. Park brake warning lamp in cluster at engine running condition indicates failure in brake system and vehicle needs to be checked at TATA Service center. If this is not possible use the vehicle with extreme precaution until you reach service center. NOTE  Kindly ensure EPB indication turns on in the Cluster.  Also EPB is applied automatically if Engine is turned off and Gear lever is engaged to park position for Automatic transmission.  During parking the vehicle on Steep incline or trailer is attached kindly ensure EPB can hold the vehicle before leaving.
