REMOVAL OF FRONT BRAKE DISC VII. Position the vehicle on two post lift and remove 1. front wheel/s by removing wheel mounting nuts. Remove two bolts of brake caliper assembly. 2. Release caliper assembly and tie aside to clear 3. off from brake disc. Remove brake disc screws securing brake disc 4. to the hub. Pull off the brake disc. 5. INSPECTION Refer Maintenance, Adjustment and Test for Brake Disc inspection. INSTALLATION Clean mating faces of hub and new brake disc. 1. Mount brake disc onto hub and tighten two 2. screws to specified torque (0.6 – 0.8 Kg-m) Install the caliper assembly to the steering 3. knuckle and tighten two bolts to specified torque (7.0 – 8.0 Kg-m) Tighten wheel mounting nuts to specified torque 4. (7.9 – 8.1 Kg-m) and fit wheel/s. CAUTION Do not allow caliper to hang on brake hose as it may damage the hose. BRAKES 47
