Remove the bolt nut of the lower mounting 9. bracket of steering column which is mounted on CCB. Remove the 2 nos mounting nuts. 10. Remove the mounting screw of upper 11. universal joint. Disengage the steering column assembly from 12. the upper universal joint and take out the steering column. REFITMENT Check the column assembly for the collapse 1. stroke ok position. (refer the Attached image’) Check the column ECU connector, torque 2. sensor and motor wiring harness is in proper condition. Check no dent mark on Motor and No damage 3. to ECU. Assemble the steering column and pivot 4. mounting bracket together with pivot bolt and tighten threads manually. Unlock the tilt lever. Take the sub assembly of the steering column 5. with pivot bracket on ccb in vehicle assembly position and insert the mounting nuts on front and rear mountings. Hand tighten all the four nuts in front and rear 6. mountings. CAUTION Hold the Steering column with the hook (5123 5890 2403) to avoid to fall down & damage of steering column & injury to operator.
