* Front suspension joint tightening at ECIE / Preloading condition. NOTE Unless otherwise specified, no oil/lubricant/thread-locker/anti-rust allowed on fastener, fastener bearing • surface or surface where the fastener will sit while assembly. All self-locking type fasteners not to be reused once joint is dismantled. Use of appropriate thread locker has been mentioned at required locations. Carefully go through the • service manual for the same. Before reassembly, inspect the mating surfaces for any defects/deposits/burr/debries/deadner. Similarly • inspect the nut and bolt thread surfaces also. To be corrected/removed for a sound joint. Use only calibrated torque wrenches. • NOTE Tightening torques to be given in ECIE / Preload condition.
