Apply the recommended grease to the sliding 6. plates and cable. BONNET LATCH RELEASE CABLE II. REMOVAL REMOVAL Open the bonnet. 1. Remove the hood latch assembly (Refer 2. Removal and refitment of hood latch assembly) Pull out the cable from the lock assembly. 3. Loosen and remove mounting screw of hood 4. release lever and remove the lever. Remove locking pin as shown in figure. 5. Disconnect the cable from hood release lever. 6. Pull out and remove the cable from the engine 7. compartment. CAUTION Do not pull the hood latch cable from inside of cab it can damage the rubber grommet. BODY 7
