SR NO Steering Part Name Steering Angle Calibration To Be Carried 1 C-EPS assembly change YES 2 C-EPS ECU change YES 3 C-EPS Motor change NO 4 IMS -Intermediate shaft change or removal & refitment of same i-shaft on car during service YES 5 Steering Wheel change NO 6 Vehicle Wheel alignment done YES 7 MRP - Rack & pinion change or removal & refitment of same rack & pinion on car during service YES NOTE If changing any part which is impacting on vehicle geometry, then drive the vehicle and check any pulling in vehicle or EPAS warning lamp is glow than diagnosis the EPAS system by Diagnostics tool. SR NO Parameter Check Points Observation/Action by Dealership 1 Customer voice Collect details from end user for complaint 1. condition / field failure phenomena. Check for when, how, where, etc., 2. 2 Test drive vehicle Check for steering noise 1. Check in static / dynamic condition. (Ensure 2. in rough road condition, 20~40Km/h) 3 If noise in static condition Check for CEPS mounting & IMS joint torque points 4 If noise in dynamic condition Check road condition(Normal or Rough 1. road) & at which speed (KMPH) noise came. Ensure underbody (Sub-frame) bolt & U/J 2. bolt torque. After tighten again, if noise repeated, 3. replace the noisy sub part 5 Notes Noise is subjective, it should be audible 1. clearly before replace the noise making part.
