MECHANICAL TROUBLESHOOTING • signal connector Check differential voltage 1. between CANL and CANH Nominal value: 0.1...1.0 V 2. Read DTC with Diagnostic 6. tool Over Heat Protection (OHP) When a driver turns steering LH/RH side continuously (more than 10times) or lock position for more 30 sec, CEPS will get over heated & CEPS power will cut off to avoid over heat damage of CEPS parts like motor / ECU /Sensor Note : It common phenomenon of CEPS, no part need to replace part. (Warning light will not ON) Vehicle ignition off for 3min , then drive. Steering will cool down . Work perfectly. Wheel / vehicle peed sensor mal- function WSS /VSS Sensor need to 1. replace. 2WSS?VSS cable faulty 2. need to check. Note : Wheel /Vehicle speed or input for CEPS.
