IGNITION KEY (IF APPLICABLE) B. An E-Key is an electronic access and authorization system which is provided as a standard feature on your vehicle. Vehicle is provided with two E-Keys. Each Key is specific to the immobilizer of vehicle. FUNCTIONAL DETAILS Lock 1. Unlock 2. Trunk open 3. Tailgate (Press follow-me button for 2sec) 4. Unlocking principle: The transponder, which is built into the ignition EKey, carries a unique identification code. The vehicle unlocks when the code on the E-Key matches with the code on the Engine Management system (VCU). Engine Starting: When the key is inserted and the ignition is switched ON, all codes are communicated within concerned components (E-Key, Immobilizer and VCU). The engine will start only if all the codes match. KEY SPECIFICATION Operating temperature range (with battery): - • 10C to +60C.
