TANK UNIT REMOVAL • Fold the 2nd row Seat and somersault it to 1. access the in tank pump cut out. Lift the carpet with foam at the cutout. 2. Loosen and remove the four screws of the 3. cutout cover and remove it. Disconnect the connecter (1) and then 4. disconnect the Vapour line (2) and fuel lines i.e. Delivery line (3). Loosen and remove the 8 mounting nuts. 5. Remove the locking ring. 6. Lift the in-tank pump carefully out from the tank. 7. FITMENT Follow the reverse order of removal for fitment. CAUTION Unless replacement is necessary, Tank unit, fuel level sensor should not be removed from the tank since the rubber parts i.e. gasket, seals etc. may harden when exposed to air and light. Never apply an excessive force to the tank unit nipple or lead wire. This may result in bent or poor contact. NOTE Make sure the 2 Gaskets (Sealing Rings) are fitted.
