Remove front two tyres. 24. Disconnect the left and right drive shafts from 25. the vehicle. (For procedure refer Transaxle Draft) Use suitable belt/chain to fix a zip crane to the 26. engine lifting hooks located at front and rear of the engine. Raise the crane slightly up until very light 27. pressure is applied to the engine. Remove the B Mount nuts and Loosen B 28. Mount Stud. Remove the “A”- mounting bracket nuts (3 nos) 29. from engine side. Remove the “C” mount. 30. Now move the two post lift upwards and place 31. the support stand, under the engine. (Use a suitable wooden block or other support for additional height as necessary.) Now slightly lower the lift until engine and 32. transaxle assembly is securely placed / fix on the support stand. Disconnect the lifting crane from the engine. 33. Now carefully move the lift up. 34. Take out the engine and transaxle assembly 35. along with support stand. Remove the starter motor, alternator along with 36. its mounting brackets. Remove the engine wiring harness. 37. Remove the transaxle from the engine. 38. Fix the LH & RH mounting brackets to the 39. engine. Safely lift the engine with the help of crane and 40. fix it on overhaul stand. SPECIAL TOOL Engine Support stand -: 5424 5890 24 01 CAUTION Use care when raising the vehicle off the engine and transaxle assembly. Verify all components and electrical connections are disconnected prior to raising the vehicle, or vehicle damage occur.
