HARRIER BSVI MCE - SERVICE MANUAL

HVAC 21 9. MODE & TEMPRATURE CONTROL ACTUATOR The temperature actuator is a high-torque, bidirectional with position feedback actuator is used to control the position of Temperature motor flap via the Temperature control voltage. The outputs are fully compatible with all physical aspects of directly driving a motor such as the occurrence of transients at motor turn-off due to back EMF. The temperature control will be functional throughout the Ignition is ON. The Temperature Control Rotary Knob (Ring) allows the user to mix the Hot and Cold air, to select the various combinations by rotating clockwise. Temperature knob controls the servomotor. Total Rotation Span is 270° with 31 positions (30 detents) each of 9°. The Position of the Temperature actuator is based on the Knob position of the Control Panel during the Ignition ON / OFF.
