BRAKES 42 iv. ASSEMBLY OF BRAKE PAD 1. Insert Pad Bottom Leg inside the Clip at an angle of 30º to 40º, then move this pad leg more inside the clip. 2. Now Insert pad top leg inside the clip, then move this pad top Leg more inside the clip. 3. Move the pads slowly inside without damaging the Clip 4. Position Caliper on Carrier. 5. Tighten bottom sliding pin Bolt. v. REMOVAL OF CARRIER 1. Remove Wheel. (Refer Wheel removal procedure) 2. Remove Caliper. (Refer Caliper removal procedure) 3. Remove brake pads from carrier assembly. (Refer Brake pad removal procedure) 4. Remove Mountings on knuckle to remove carrier. 5. Remove pad retraction clip.
