BRAKES 35 5. To disconnect pedal from brake booster remove split pin. 6. Remove clevis pin to separate booster assembly from pedal. 7. Loosen and remove the brake mounting M8 nuts from panel firewall RHD. 8. Push out booster Assembly to make space to release clutch/brake pedal Bracket Assembly. 9. Loosen and Remove Upper and Lower mountings on Bracket Assembly from Firewall Panel RHD. (Brake and clutch control mountings) INSTALLATION 1. Hold the brake control bracket on firewall. 2. Tighten the brake mounting bracket nut specified sequence & torque (2.0 - 2.5 Kg-m). 3. Match clevis hole to the pedal lever hole and insert clevis pin into the hole. 4. Insert split pin in to the hole of clevis pin and split the end of split pin. NOTE: a. Not to add carpet over the basic carpet in the pedal region. b. Basic carpet should be held firmly in the pedal region.
