Circular grooves can be seen on the friction material on the flywheel side. The clutch has been replaced when the flywheel has been previously scored. Systematically check the condition of the flywheel. Skim flywheel if necessary. 14. Pedal Stiff Stiff pedal with the risk of prolonged slipping after pulling away. The guide tube is corroded and worn. Clutch wear is abnormal taking into account the amount of mileage. The release bearing jams on the guide. If there are any signs of irregular wear replace guide tube. Avoid excessive lubrication which could contaminate the friction material.
