94 ENGINE2.2LDICOR Oil Separator A step towards developing environment friendly products, to eliminate the engine blow by being emitted to atmosphere, the engine breather / oil separator has been fitted. The oil separator eparates oil from the blow by of the engine and sends it back to engine oil sump. The remaining air, carbon particles and other gases are sent to the inlet manifold. There is also a spring loaded diaphragmvalve provided on the oil separator outlet to the inlet manifold. This prevents the flow of excessive of blow-by from the oil separator to inlet manifold in case the air filter is choked and high suction starts acting on outlet port of oil separator. No leakage past diaphragm or top cover of oil separator is permitted. Replace the assembly if there is any leakage. ToAir-Intake hose Crank case Blow-by gas Oil return to crank case
