ENGINE 58 INJECTOR Injectors Solenoid operated Injectors capable of fuel injection at very high pressures with desired quantity and with desired injection advance. Injector is clamped with a claw. Type : 4 x DFI 1.3 Technical description ● Maximal pressure in normal operating conditions: 1600 bars ● minimal operating delivery : 0.8 mg/str. at 230 bar ● injector control current : 16pull-6hold A, ● multiple injection capability : timing between two successive injections : down to 200 ms ● electrical connection : FCI 2 ways connector ● Nozzle: Micro-sac or VCO extended guide short protrusion ● Protection: inlet, outlet and nozzle plug. ● Timing between 2 successive injections – 200 ● 1 Pilot, 1 Main Product Description ● Servo valve principle ● Solenoid actuator (Solenoid valve Control) ● 200 - 1450 Bar operating pressure ● pilot quantity 1-3 mm^3 ● Very good shot to shot performance ● Extremely fast response ● Low leakage system ● Capable of multiple injections ● Low return flow, eliminates the need for fuel cooler ● Low combustion noise due to accurate pilot control ● High part to part consistency ● Microsac nozzle for Euro-III Precautions Injectors not to be inter changed in field during service since individual injector characterization is different and I2C no. of each injector is fed to the ECU during engine assembly. The Injectors have to be removed in case of the following reasons 1. Compression pressure in each cylinder needs to be checked for any possible reason like high engine oil consumption, high blow by, low power and pickup. 2. In case cylinder head has to be removed and disassembled. 3. If Injectors are damaged due to dust entry in the high pressure fuel system. In this case replace the injectors. I2C
