ENGINE 55 Fig 3 8. Reuse of HP lines is prohibited. Any HP line once removed should not be reused. Fit new HP line as per the HP pipe fitment procedure. (Pump to rail) 9. Apply Torque = 35 +/- 5 Nm. to each coupling nuts of the HP lines. 10. Connect the back-leak pipes, low pressure fuel lines and IMV and FTS electric connector ensuring they are fully home. 11. Fit back the components in their place which were removed or loosened for accessibility to the pump assembly. 12. Prime the fuel system with the pear pump (press the pump till it becomes hard). NOTE 1. Use new gaskets for pump mounting. 2. Do not bend or apply any force on the HP line while fitment. 3 Ensure that no fuel leakage is observed from any where after starting the engine at idle and at maximum speed of engine after accelerator pedal is pressed.
