148 ENGINE2.2LDICOR Test Procedure 2.1 Use a d 3-½ digit Digital Multi meter (DMM) for measuring the resistance 2.2 Immerse the sensor in a water bath such that its terminals are facing upwards and out side the water level (See fig. 1) 2.3 Ensure that, around 50% of the hexagonal flange thickness should lie below the water. See Fig 2. 2.4 Boil the water and wait for 10 minutes after boiling temperature of 100 deg c is reached. This will ensure that the temperature is stabilized. 2.5 Measure the resistance value with the DMMat 100 Deg C resistance of the sensor should be 199.6 +/- 9.3 Ohms VacuumMeasurement Values (BS-III) Equipment: VacuumGauge Sr.No. EngineSpeed VaccumPressure (mmof HG) - Minimum RPM Inlet Outlet Inlet Outlet 1 800 (Idle) 650 270 650 560 2 2000 640 260 650 540 3 3000 640 260 540 320 4 4000 640 0 640 270 5 4700 ( Fly Up) 640 0 640 200 VNT EVRV EGREVRV
