While carrying Airbag modules hold the deployment side away from face, to avoid personal injury. 7. To dispose an undeployed air bag module, follow the instructions given in the SRS section for disposal. 8. Follow the instructions given SRS section for all Air bag related repairs. 9. If the airbag is opened during transport or handling, the airbag should be returned to the supplier. 10.Do not carry the airbag modules by its wires. B. WORKING WITH ENGINE 'ON' It is recommended that the engine should be OFF during any repair procedures, however if it is required to keep the engine running during any repair or for testing purpose. Make sure the following precautions are observed: 1. Make sure that the vehicle is in neutral. 2. Make sure that the workshop has provision to artificially force out the exhaust gas (Exhaust fan), if not conduct the repair outdoors. 3. It is advisable to lift the rear wheels off ground to avoid personal injury in case of accidental gear engagement. !! WARNING  In case of vehicles fitted with transfer case it is recommended that all four wheels are lifted as there are chances the power may be transmitted to the front wheel as well.  Do not use Jack, use lifts instead. 4. Take special care to avoid putting hand into the engine bay, especially where the drive belt and radiator fan is located, it may lead to severe personal injury. 5. Ensure that you or your clothing is away from moving parts, especially drive belts. 6. Avoid placing tools on the engine, as the vibration may cause it to fall into running parts like belts, pulleys etc. causing damage to the components and may also result in personal injury. 7. Keep monitoring engine coolant temperature, since the vehicle is stationary, it may lead to coolant overheating.
