TOD 19 8.8 ON VEHICLE REPAIRS A. TRANSFER CASE REMOVAL 1. Switch off Ignition. 2. Disconnect the battery negative. 3. Remove the pre-silencer (1) (or Under-Body Catcon in BS IV Vehicles), by loosening the nuts (2) by holding their bolts (3). 4. Disconnect TOD Electrical Connector. 5. Remove the front and rear propeller shaft. (For procedure refer Propeller Shaft) 6. Disconnect the Gear shifter assembly mounted on TOD. 7. Support the TOD from below using a movable support. 8. Loosen and remove the five TOD mounting bolts on Gearbox and lower the TOD Assembly.
