HVAC 23 CAUTION The point indicated above is the location of the sensing bulb and not the point where clip has to be inserted. Any minor change in position of the evaporator can lead to malfunctioning of the HVAC system. PIN OUT NOTE Refer front HVAC overhauling for removal and installation process. Only front HVAC is fitted with thermister, rear HVAC is not fitted with thermister. INSPECTION 1. Dip the sensor in ice water and measure the resistance with a digital multimeter. 2. Then pour hot water into it and check for change in resistance between pin 1 and pin 2 of the thermister. 3. The resistance should decrease as per the above graph and table. CAUTION When checking the resistance the temperature should not exceed the range of -400Cto 850C.
