BODY 35 V. FRONT DOOR LATCH: REMOVAL: SR. NO. DESCRIPTION 1 Cable between inner handle to latch 2 Cable between pop up knob to latch 3 Link between lock barrel to latch 4 Link between outer handle to latch 5 Latch 1. Remove the door trim. (For procedure refer door trim removal process.) 2. Disconnect electrical connector at the latch end. 3. Push the pop knob in downwards so as to in lock position to have better access to remove the links. 4. Disconnect the inner handle cable from the inner door handle and bracket. 5. Disconnect the pop up knob cable from the bracket. 6. Disconnect the link between lock barrel and latch from the lock barrel end. 7. Disconnect the outer handle link from the outer handle end.
