STEERING 40 D. STEERING PUMP : i. PRESSURE PORT CONNECTOR : Dismantling: 1. Hold the pump in proper fixture. 2. Loosen and remove the pressure port connector using a spanner. 3. Separate the connector, valve, spring and “O” ring. NOTE: Use new “O” ring at the time of assembly. INSPECTION: 1. Check for scoring marks and damages in the “O” ring seating areas and damages in the thread. 2. Check for damages and thread worn out. NOTE: Discard all rubber parts and sealing washer and use new one at the time of assembly.
