FRONT AXLE (4X4) 32 34.Once correct backlash and contact pattern is achieved insert the axle intermediate shaft. 35.Ensure the cleanliness of the carrier cover face and apply the uniform sealant bid along the carrier cover face avoiding the bolt holes as far as possible. NOTE Use Anabond A-676 or 3M sealant 36.Install the carrier cover plate and locate it on the cover plate mounting studs on the carrier. Install and tighten the cover plate bolts to specified torque. (Refer service data for correct torque value) NOTE Discard the old bolts and use new bolts for cover plate mounting as the bolts are coming with sealant patch on it and during tightening sealant patch wears off. Reusing cover bolts may leads to leakage from cover bolts sides
