SUSPENSION 22 10. ON BENCH FRONT STRUT DISASSEMBLY 1. Compress the spring with spring Compression tool part No.2702 5890 3202 until the spring tension is released. (i.e. becomes free in its seating place) 2. Hold the piston rod by Allen key (A/F: 6 mm) to stop piston rod rotation during loosening of nut. 3. Unscrew nut and remove strut top plate. 4. Take out strut top bearing cup. 5. Take out top spring seat. 6. Remove Dust cover. 7. Remove Bump Stopper.
