KRYOTEC ENGINE 48 6. ENGINE ON VEHICLE SERVICE PROCEDURE A. ENGINE REMOVAL DESCRIPTION In many cases, the engine can be repaired while still in the vehicle. The engine must be removed in cases where the engine has been severely damaged beyond repair or the type of repair requires removal. Use the following procedure as a guide to engine removal and installation. REMOVAL 1. Raise and support the vehicle 2. Remove battery leaf screen cover. 3.Disconnect the electrical connection to the battery. 4. Remove the bottom mounting clamp of the battery. 5. Remove the battery from the vehicle. 6. Remove the snorkel assy.
