KRYOTEC ENGINE 101 10. Remove all the upper main bearing half shell from crankcase. 11. Remove the piston cooling nozzles. NOTE Gasket not to be reused. Refer “Repair and Inspection Details” section for Inspection details. x. REMOVAL OF CYLINDER HEAD SUBASSEMBLIES 1. Remove the roller finger follower and hydraulic lash adjuster assemblies. 2. Using valve spring compressor remove the valve spring retainers, valve spring and valve spring washers. (Handle -: 5530 5890 0101, Adapter -: 5412 5890 0606 & Support rail-: 5412 5890 0607) NOTE The lock halves hold the spring retainer in place when relieving pressure applied by the spring compressor. 3. Repeat the same procedure for all valves. 4. Remove the valve from below. NOTE Refer “Repair and Inspection Details” section for Inspection details.
