ENGINE 273 MPFI 147 ENGINE • Fit the timing belt in the proper sequence. • Adjust the timing belt tension by rotating the tensioner clockwise using allen key. • Tighten the tensioner mounting bolt to the specified torque. Check timing belt tension. It should be between 65 - 75 Hz for new belt on longest span. Note: Timing belt should not be retensioned. • Tighten the camshaft gear bolt with the specified torque.
