Obstructed air filter or air inlet • Clean or replace air filter or inlet. Vehicle ignition system in need of tune- up • Inspect spark plugs and high tension leads. Replace as necessary. Improper grade or contaminated fuel • Rush fuel system with fresh, clean, fuel of the correct type. Replace fuel filter. Low battery voltage • Test battery and charging system output. Repair or replace battery or charging system components as needed. Incorrect valve/ignition timing • Check timing system components and repair or replace as necessary. Defective lambda/02 or other engine sensors • Check lambda/02 sensor and other engine sensors for proper operation. Defective fuel injectors or other fuel system component • Inspect fuel system components for proper operation. Repair or replace as necessary. Disconnected or leaking vacuum line or vacuum leak at inlet manifold • Inspect all vacuum lines and connections. Repair or replace as necessary.
