With a volume of around 20.5 cc, this dampens fuel pressure fluctuations due to: Q pressure pump operation Q injector opening. There is a fuel pressure sensor (2) fitted on one side of the supply manifold (1) . The hydraulic connections (high pressure) between manifold-pump and manifold-injecors are via steel pipes with a bore of 2 mm and external diameter of 6 mm. 3A.1.5.2.4 FUEL METERING VALVE Function: The function of the fuel metering valve is same as DRV in 75Ps to regulate the pressure inside common rail based on ECU command.
