ENGINE 1.3 QUADRAJET (75PS) 37 C. CYLIDER HEAD BLOCK ASSEMBLY - REFITTING 10.Refit the air chamber complete with gasket and pressure relief sensor back in it s housing and secure i t t ightening the M8 bol t s to the recommended torque of 2.3 ~ 2.8 Kg-m . 11.Replace the engine oil vapour sep arator with engine oil vapour recirculation pipe in ist seat and secure with bolts. 12.Fasten the engine oil vapour recirculation pipe to the retaining collars on the air 13.capacity chamber. 14.Place the exhaust gas/water heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system complete with gasket back in its housing and secure it by tightening the M8 boslt to the specified torque of 2.3 ~ 2.8 Kg-m . 15.Replace the engine oil pressure warning light switch (M14) in its housing and tighten it to 16.- Place the thermostat in its housing with the Oring and secure it by tightening the M8 boslt to the recommended torque of 2.2 ~ 2.7 Kg-m . 17.Replace the coolant delivery sleeve from the thermostat to the coolant/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the EGR system and secure with the relevant collars. NOTE Q Before fitting the locating bushes, check that the height is 13 mm. 18.Refit the camshaft housing locating bushes in their seats in the cylinder head. NOTE Q Position the hydraulic tappets with the oil channel hole turned toward the outside of the cylinder head: this position brings the hole into communication with the oil duct on the lower cylinder head. 19. Place the valve rockers in their housings. 20. Remove the cylinder head from the support tool 287158900624 (Mount). 21. Refit the glow plugs (M8) and tighten them to the recommended torque of 0.9 ~ 1.1 Kg-m . 22. Place the exhaust manifold gasket in its housing. 23. Place the air conditioning compressor mounting in its housing and secure it by tightening the M8 nuts (do not reuse the nust ) to the recommended torque of 1.4 ~ 1.6 Kg-m+ 30° +/- 3°. B. CAMSHAFT HOUSING INSPECTION AND MEASUREMENT 1. Check that the diameter of the camshatf bearings corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the worn camshaft. Camshaft bearing diameter - 38.500 ~ 38.515 First bearing (mm) Camshaft bearing diameter - 38.000 ~ 38.015 Second bearing (mm) Camshaft bearing diameter - 30.000 ~ 30.015 Third bearing (mm) 2. Check that the diameter of the camshatf supports corresponds to the recommended figures; if not, replace the cylinder head.
